Jason Ritchie, Managing Director

Jason has worked in financial services for more than twenty years. In 2007 following a successful career in Private Banking and Wealth Management, Jason formed Berkley Square Private Clients. His aim being to deliver clients a true wealth management experience based upon building long term, trusted relationships.

As the driving force behind Berkley Square Private Clients, Jason is passionate about the Practice and its core values of "Quality, Integrity and Excellence". Jason forms trusted relationships with his clients, creating financial planning strategies that add value and substance to their financial and personal position over the longer term. Jason formally reviews these strategies on a regular basis with face to face meetings, as well as always being available at the end of the phone.

Away from the office, Jason enjoys travelling and spending time with his family. In addition to this, Jason is a keen golfer and Swindon Town supporter.

Joanne Ritchie, Co Director

Joanne is married to Jason and shares his vision of how a true wealth management proposition should be delivered. Joanne, along with Jason in 2007, accepted the invitation to join St. James's Place and in doing so, Berkley Square Private Clients was formed.
Joanne has previous experience in retail banking and in the customer services industry. She supports the day to day running of the Practice, liaising with both clients and the advisory team, to make sure that files are updated and that queries are resolved and handled in a timely fashion.

John O'Connell, Senior Financial Advisor

John has recently joined as a Senior Financial Adviser following the successful merger of his long standing wealth management business, Kingstons Financial Management Limited with Berkley Square Private Clients Limited.

John has been providing his clients with financial advice for over 30 years, specialising in the areas of pensions, investment and inheritance tax planning. This advice has always been based on providing an ongoing service which incorporates the principles of integrity, professionalism, reliability and trust so as to help to ensure the financial well being of clients both now and in the future.

Ryan Trowbridge, Financial Advisor

Berkley Square were delighted that Ryan accepted the invitation to join the Practice following a successful career advising private clients for Lloyds Bank. Ryan felt Berkley Square would allow him to further develop his career in Financial Planning, as well as being able to build long term, trusted relationships with clients. Ryan is a diploma qualified Advisor, particularly skilled at providing advice in investment planning, pension planning, savings and protection.

Matthew Pentecost, Trainee Adviser

Matthew began a successful career in financial services in 2002. Previously working within Lloyds Banking Group, he is both CeMap and CeFap qualified. Matthew established trusted relationships with his clients as a Financial Consultant, before specialising as a Mortgage Broker.

Passionate about providing quality financial advice, Matthew is keen to offer his clients a personalised wealth management experience, built on integrity and professionalism.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys a busy social life with his wife Claire - and has been known to run a marathon or two whilst raising money for charity.

Jo Wills, Practice Manager

Jo joined Berkley Square in 2010 and has become a vital member of the team. As well as managing the practice to the high standards set, Jo provides valuable Investment analysis, along with individual case support to Jason. In doing so this allows Jason to concentrate on the implementation and ongoing reviews of clients' financial planning strategies.

Jo is F.P.C qualified in her own right and as well as supporting the team with technical issues she also assists in the preparation and planning of our bespoke client reports and portfolios.

Away from the office, Jo enjoys travelling, socialising with friends and most importantly spending time with her family.

Michaela Rowland, Marketing Manager

With the expansion of the business, we are pleased to welcome Michaela to Berkley Square to help deliver our marketing strategy.

Michaela has worked within the marketing industry for the past four years; specifically for Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) in Swindon and Chippenham, specialising in relationship building with the professional sector as well as local authority and key stakeholders. She also possesses experience in producing and delivering professional client events and has recently been involved in community events within Chippenham.

With a diverse background in managing relationships across a variety of industries as well as enhanced communication skills, Michaela will liaise efficiently with clients, advisers and the core Marketing Team at St. James's Place.

Outside of work, Michaela enjoys a busy social life, music festivals, travelling and fitness.

Becky Tye, Office Administrator

We were extremely pleased when Becky agreed to join the Practice in 2016, and in doing so bringing with her an exceptional set of skills, perfectly suited to the practice. Having worked in banking and the mortgage market for more than 15 years she brings with her a highly regarded skill set. Becky is well versed in managing client relationships adding a level of expertise that allows her to liaise comfortably between our clients and our advisors.

Outside of work, Becky is a busy mum and enjoys spending time with her family.

Melanie Gordon, Office Administer

Mel has been with Berkley Square Private Clients from day one, she has seen the company expand and grow over the years. Mel works tirelessly to ensure that the Advisory team are able to focus their attentions on looking after the needs of their clients. This involves careful management of the diaries, ensuring that reviews are booked in a timely fashion and that reports and documentation are in place for every meeting attended.

Mel has been key in the implementation of the Berkley Square Client Charter which is our commitment to place our clients' individual needs at the centre of everything we do.

Outside of work, Mel enjoys a busy social life, spending time with her two daughters and her husband Mark, as well as being a keen gardener.
